HAO Expedition & Safari was founded by a small team of naturalists and wilderness guides who spent decades living and working across East Africa's most remote landscapes. We built this company around one conviction: the best safaris are led by people who are genuinely in love with the land.
Our guides are fluent in the rhythms of the bush — they know where the elephants drink at midday, where the leopards sleep when it's hot, and which ridge catches the light at golden hour. They share that knowledge the way a friend would, not a tour operator.
